How dumb. Agneepath is a REVENGE film, with the character having PURELY NOBLE INTENTIONS becoming a gangster JUST to get revenge, whereas Scarface is a mafia film about a greedy guy. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!!!!!
Agneepath to me is a foolishly made movie which has to satisfy a feeling tht the protagonist is always just and righteous...u can't compare it with a more realistic charecterisation. I don't thnk agneepath shd be cmprd with scarface

When I first saw the movie I really don't know the agneepath is a copy of scarface...After finishing the movie scarface I am confident to say..Whether it's a scene,style of dialogue delivery,Punching line and the narrative are same.Amitabh is also a human being BTW.Scarface release on 1983 and agneepath released on 1990.On that time Hollywood movie not much popular in India Thts the basic reason ppl generally not compared agneepath to scarface.
Apart from the similarities in character Tony Montana and Vijay Deena Nath Chauhan, there is nothing else similar between the two films. Scarface is about how an over ambitious scum turned drug lord messes up his and his family's life. Agneepath is a revenge drama.
A lot of Indian movies are copied shamelessly from foreign movies. But Agneepath IS NOT a copy of Scarface.

Amitabh is a good actor in his own parameter don't compare him with the legend of an era Robert de niro or Alpacino.Deniro is the two time oscar winner for his untimely classic movie God father Part-2 and Raging bull..Beside that Alpacino gave unlimited hits but never won an oscar and it came after Scent of a woman!!So respect those legendary actor moron!!

About a 'greedy guy'!!! a guy who uprooted from his motherland Cuba,just because he's not pure cuban (half american)as The Fidel Castro ordered through out the Cuba, the 'greedy guy' always fought for castro just make his dream (freedom) in real,then what get after being a soulful communist,everything becomes an 'propaganda',that's why he(the greedy guy) ultimately admitted "I killed communist just for fun" ,this story only stands true in that time of world (a different prospect of humanity rather than saying 'communism').In todays time/world this plot is inconvenient.
